1. Preparation before starting the pump

① Check all dosing procedures;

②Before starting the pump, check whether the oil quantity in the gear box of the metering pump is appropriate, whether the pipeline valves and pressure gauges are complete and easy to use;

③Before formal dosing, the drug-dissolving tank should be filled with clean water, and the inlet and outlet valves of the metering pump should be fully opened. Rinse the dosing pipeline with clean water before starting the pump. During the operation of the pump, pay attention to the change of pump pressure, and observe whether there is leakage in the dosing pipeline and valve parts;

④ The metering pump unit should be in good condition, so as not to cause accidental harm to people and the environment.

① Prepare the medicament according to the requirements of the medicament formula, open the inlet and outlet valves of the metering pump and the control valve at the end of the dosing process;

②According to the amount of medicine added, after adjusting the stroke of the metering pump, start the metering pump. Make a good record of the pump start time, dosing name, and dosage.

3. Outage

① For metering pumps that have been out of service for a long time, clean water should be used to replace the chemicals in the pumps and pipelines to prevent corrosion or blockage of the pumps and pipelines. If there is no problem, stop the pump and close the inlet and outlet valves;

② Regularly clean and replace the oil in the metering pump gearbox.
